The workshop location is Ise-shima Royal Hotel located in the center
of Ise-shima area in
Mie prefecture.
It is faced with Ago gulf, very beautiful
sea shore, and located about 120 km south to Nagoya.
It takes about three hours from the nearest international airports, Nagoya
and Osaka(Kansai) by bus and train. You can also reach Kyoto,
the conference site of ICSE'98 in 2 hours and a half by train.
There are many interesting and exciting sightseeing places such as
Spanish Village (10 minutes walk or a couple of minutes of bus trip
from the cite),
Mikimoto's Pearl Island (20 minutes trip by train),
Toba
Aquarium (the same trip as Pearl Island),
Ise-Jingu Shrine (30 minutes trip
by train), and so on.
Furthermore you can see the beautiful coast lines and islands, e.g.
Myoto-Iwa (Wife and husband rock), that have been
registered as National Parks by Japanese government more than 30 years ago.
